Description:

We have the solution for transformers oil leaks. It separates the oil from the water, collects hydrocarbons and disposes rainwater. Mobile pollution prevention system in the event of oil leaks. System developed in conjunction with the maintenance teams from RTE (company that manages the public high voltage electricity transmission network in France).

Design

Solution for oil leakage from transformer

Among the environmental concerns, noise pollution is not necessarily the one that comes to mind first. However, they exist and can affect the comfort of local residents.

It is a stainless steel structure composed by 3 compartments:

Separator equipped with coalescing plates allowing quicker settling and a sludge with a 1,5 » draining valve.
37 liters oil storage, connected to an oil level indicator, equipped with a 1,5 » draining valve
Decanted water retention compartment equipped with a safety siphon, a 2 » draining valve and a rainwater hydrocarbon filter assembled on a polypropylen quick release coupler.
Removable cover equipped with trash rack with ergonomic handles.

Relatively simple installation steps:

Positioning straight on the ground allows the product to be placed easily below the critical leak.
Circular bubble level to guarantee correct level and operation.
Possibility of ground fixing.
Delivered with user manual sticked on the HOLYBAG’s body.

Different functions for transformers oil leaks

Installed underneath an identified dielectric oil leakage, the Holybag offers the following functions:

Physical decantation: liquid and solid separation to remove and store solid particles (sand, leaves, dust…). Liquid and liquid separation to remove and store dielectric oil phase.
Oil phase collection: the oil phase is stored in the dedicated compartment (37 liters of dielectric oil).
Water phase filtration: the water phase is driven towards a FILTRELEC® filter that removes traces of oil from the rainwater to ensure the filtered water hydrocarbon content < 5 mg/l (ppm).
Operator oriented apparatus: developed in partnership with the End User (RTE, National French Transmission company) :
