Design of the steel bund

Sheeting (dimensions: 20 to 30/10) that has undergone anti-oxidation treatment. Copper or stainless steel grounding braids

Leaktightness tested and approved by APAVE. Bunds tested using the liquid penetrant testing procedure ARDROX 996 P2. Hot-dip galvanised steel or C3 to C5M coating.

Multi-shape containment bunds for electrical transformers. Hot-dip galvanisation.

BWR: rectangular shape for conventional transformers.
Other shapes upon request.

Installation of the steel bund

Hot-dip galvanisation for outdoor installation with the option of fitting FILTRELEC^®filters. Adjustable support beams at the bottom of the bund to lift up the transformer and prevent it from standing in water.

In accordance with the applicable environmental protection regulations, it is prohibited for most dielectric liquids to be allowed to leak into the environment. Which means that a containment bund is required.

Our containment bunds comply with the european REACH regulation.

The transformer is placed on two galvanized beams whose spacing is adjusted to suit the transformer skid spacing.

The support beams can be fitted lengthways in the bund upon request. The steel bund is delivered with a user manual.

Hot galvanised 30/10 sheet steel for a longer lifetime.

Completely welded, bund available in several shapes and sizes according to the configuration of the transformer to be equipped:

rectangular design for standard transformers [BWR],
U design for transformers with 2 radiators on the same side [BWU],
H design for transformers with 4 radiators [BWH].

Earthed by copper or stainless steel braid. Total retention of the dielectric. Conformity with French standard NF C 13-200 (revision June. 2018) and the current specific standards in the country of installation.

Suit all electrical transformers shapes

Standard range for transformers from 160 kVA to 2500 kVA. Also for earthing transformers, condensers, etc… Allows outdoor installation of the retentions bunds whilst keeping the transformer out of the rainwater.

Delivery time: 2 to 3 weeks depending on stock, otherwise 5 to 6 weeks from receipt of your order for all standards models (may be longer during holiday periods).
