Reference FLAMELEC®
Automatic fire-extinguishing accelerator: single water solution contained in a glass vial. 100% green, combines the various strengths of existing products (foam, pure water, etc.). No environment-related risks (corrosion, etc.). In the event of a type-A or B fire, the heat generated triggers a reaction, which causes the solution to be sprayed in the air.
The capsule is fitted directly on to the equipment in accordance with precise technical instructions; at 84ºC, the capsule explodes automatically.
FLAMELEC® acts thanks to its surfactant effect triggered upon ignition of the fire, which puts out the fire in a few seconds. And at the same time stops it from re-igniting. Effect comes from a chemical reaction that lowers the temperature significantly. And then suffocates the fire through a negative catalyst effect.
The automatic fire-extinguishing accelerator is a 100% green product that presents no risk to people or the environment. The product is type-approved according to EC Directive 67/548/EEC. Depending on the format chosen, FLAMELEC® acts on fires in enclosed or semi-enclosed spaces of up to 16m3. Positioned at different strategic points of its installations, it guarantees maximum protection and prevents a fire from spreading.
It can be stored at ambient temperatures of between -25°C and +65 °C. The capsules do not require any maintenance and can keep for up to 5 years when they are assembled and stored in accordance with the recommendations issued by AKHELEC.
FLAMAUTO is installed by AKHELEC’s specialist teams after making a needs analysis. And dimensioning the protection system needed to configure its installations and its containment.
Used inside a pit or a containment bund for electrical transformers. FLAMAUTO can be delivered with a conventional (standard) mounting system or on a shock absorbing mounting system when the site is exposed to strong vibrations (optional).
