Description:
Bunds with fire extinguishing system for electrical transformers. Allow for rapid disposal of the dielectric substances in the bund and natural extinguishing of the flames. For transformers (between 10 and 100 MVA), neutral point coils (between 300 and 1000 A), condensers, compensated impedance transformers, auto-transformers, auxiliary transformers and frequency injection transformers.

Design
Hot-dip galvanised sheet metal for a longer lifespan. Our containment bunds for electric transformers are a single unit, but are also available in modular versions to handle large volumes of dielectric fluids (BAFX product range).
Copper or stainless steel terminal grounding system. Total dielectric liquid retention capacity. Sealing checked and approved by the independent control body, APAVE.
Bunds checked using liquid penetrant inspection procedure ARDROX 996 P2. MX® type fire extinguishing system comprising a set of factory-assembled galvanised sheet metal baffle plates.

Installation
The transformer is mounted on two special galvanised beams, the width of which can be adjusted according to the distance between the axes of the wheels.
Use
Compatible with the EU Ecodesign Regulation in force since 1 July 2015 (Regulation (EU) No 548/2014 on implementing Directive 2009/125/EC).
The fire suppression containment bunds can be used outdoors by adding a safety siphon and the FILTRELEC ECODESIGN® system to ensure the continuous disposal of rainwater, thereby ensuring compliance with the Water Act.
The containment bund has a built-in MX®-type fire extinguishing system that allows for rapid disposal of the dielectric substances in the bund and the natural extinguishing of the flames
