REMINDER / REGULATION
Given the current regulations on environmental protection, it is stipulated that most liquid dielectrics are not allowed to penetrate the natural environment, which, in practice, often requires the use of a self-contained retention bund.
For all questions regarding the use of a bund, refer to Decree 77-254 dated 08/03/1977 (Water Law), to Decree 79-981 dated 21/11/1979 (Law on the recuperation of waste oil), to Decree 2001-63 dated 18/01/2001 (Law on the elimination of PCBs), to ADR 2009 (road transportation), and NF 17-300 (fire safety).
DESIGN
Hot galvanised sheet.
Removable grating with central reinforcements for the heaviest loads.
U-girders under the bund for handling with a pallet truck or a self-propelled truck.
1/4 turn 1" valve as standard.
Total retention of the dielectric. Compliance with standard NF C 13 200.
Tested sealing. Individually tested through the ARDROX 996 PC dye penetrant test procedure, approved by the APAVE.
INSTALLATION
The transformer is set directly on the grating so that the oil drains into the bottom of the bund.
PVC tarpaulin optional, to cover the transformer on its bund.
