Noise-reduction plates.
Functioning electric transformers can emit vibrations through metal retention bunds : These vibrations can spread out and the sound level can cause disturbance in the surrounding area.
The sound reducing kits we propose enable this kind of nuisance to be attenuated.
DESIGN
KAB sound-reducing plates are available in various hardness that have their own frequency and their own absorption capacity.
For application in retention bunds, we have selected 2 kinds of hardness: one to insulate the bund itself from the ground and the other one to insulate the transformer wheels from the supporting beams or the bottom of the bunds.
These kits can be used with our BR, BAF and BAFX lines.
As they are made of nitrile rubber, these plates resist almost all types of oil used in the transformer industry.
INSTALLATION
The noise reduction kits have 4 or 8 plates according to your needs:
- The 4 grey plates are installed between the bund and the ground under the transformer's supports;
- The 4 green plates are installed under the transformer's wheels.
Upon request, these sound reducing plates can be cut to other sizes.
