FLAMELEC® product line
USE
FLAMELEC® is one of the products of the Flamark Ltd range, based on a unique chemical solution contained in a crystal bulb.
In case of a Type A or B fire, the heat released triggers a chemical reaction which vaporises the solution into the air, through the explosion of the capsule.
This product has multiple uses in industry, but one of its main derivatives is particularly suitable for power transformers.

FLAMELEC® is available in 2 sizes:
- FLAMAUTO : the capsule is directly mounted in the equipments, according to specific technical instructions; when the temperature reaches 84°C, the capsule explodes, without any human intervention.
- FLAMANU : the capsule is placed in a case, mounted on the wall in risk zones (workshop, electrical cabinet, storage area for products, etc.). When a fire occurs, one simply needs to throw the capsule against a hard surface in order to break the dispenser so that the solution can spread out and cover the fire as much as possible.

FLAMELEC® acts thanks to its surfactant effect from the very beginning of the fire and completely extinguishes the fire in a few seconds, while preventing it restarting.
It acts through a chemical reaction by greatly lowering the temperature, then by suffocating the fire by negative catalysis.
FLAMELEC® does not cause any short circuit in equipment under voltage. This product is entirely environmental friendly, and is harmless to man. It is has been approved according to the directive CE 67/548/CEE.
According to its size, FLAMELEC® acts on fires in closed or semi closed areas of up to 16 m3; placed at various strategic points in your installations, it ensures maximum protection and avoids the propagation of the fire.
Storable at ambient temperatures ranging from -25°C à +65 °C, the capsules do not require any maintenance and have a shelf life of 5 years when mounted or stored in compliance with the recommendations set by GM
